Last night we had a fire in our house. We are all OK. The wall is scorched and the outlet had to be replaced but we are fine.
Pierce has been fascinated with the outlets lately. We have gotten after him so much but he just kept messing with them. Last night He put a dime behind the nightlight and it went right down to the prongs of the light. Somehow it caused it to spark and smoke. Audrey and Pierce came downstairs screaming and crying. Dusty and I ran up stairs and there were flames coming out of the socket. Luckily, the prongs melted of and the connection broke so it stopped.
I KNOW THAT WE, ESPECIALLY PIERCE, WHERE PROTECTED. When will life get less eventful?
